Invited to Weft?

Start with a text.

Weft is a group-planning messaging application operated by Phil Cunliffe. Membership is by invitation from your group’s organizer.

What happens next

After you text START you will receive this confirmation:

weft: You're in. weft will only text you about your group's plans, a few messages a week and more around an event. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

From then on, Weft texts you about your group’s plans: invitations, RSVP requests, reminders, event updates, and personal links to browser rooms. Accepting an event invitation joins that event’s shared conversation.

Save Weft to your contacts

After opting in, you’ll receive a contact card you can tap to save Weft’s name and number. You can also add Weft to Contacts here, or text CONTACT to request the card again.

Find your web chat

Text CHAT from your registered phone to recover personal links to your open rooms. A link signs in as you; keep it private. Opening the generic web chat page does not grant access to a room.

Leaving and rejoining

Reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and no further messages unless you opt in again. Your room access also ends. Reply START to rejoin; existing room links will not reactivate.
